Press Release - Louisville Production Company, 180 Degrees, Launches Strategic Partnership with LA firm.
8/26/2020 | The creation of new partnership, “FrameRite,” will bring 180 Degrees to east & west coasts.
Louisville, KY (08/26/2020) – Louisville-based 180 Degrees Film Production is launching “FrameRite” - a new, creative partnership with company 4Ground Films, based in Los Angeles & New York City. Through this partnership, 180 is expanding with offices in California, New York, and Louisville – to pursue narrative commercial and feature projects on a national stage.
180 Degrees built a reputation in Louisville as a premiere production company for digital storytelling. Founded in 2011 by partners Archie Borders, Mike Fitzer, Erin Roark & Kim Cox – 180 Degrees has written and produced local and international feature films (including Under the Eiffel Tower now streaming on Netflix), documentaries, and corporate-level videos.
180 Degrees long considered branching into other markets in a more permanent capacity but waited for the ideal partner. 180 & 4Ground collaborated on projects before making the partnership official. 180’s Creative Director, Archie Borders, said the following, “Creating FrameRite is a complete win for 180 and our clients. This new energy, creativity, and ability to combine a solid work ethic with innovative and collaborative storytelling, makes FrameRite the perfect collaborative partnership."
180 team expanded in-house production capabilities and services – including a new animation, motion graphics, and virtual reality team. 4Ground producer, Ryan Perry, said “This opportunity was a no-brainer for us at 4Ground. We have a great working relationship with 180 but more importantly they’re our friends. This partnership allows us to learn from a highly successful company while also incorporating our own core competencies for future collaborations.”
As FrameRite, 180 Degrees & 4Ground Films combine top-notch production experience with new filming techniques for the ultimate in-house, emotional branded content that will keep viewers connected to the story at-hand. 180 Degrees will continue business as usual in Louisville while also forging new client relationships in east coast & west coast markets.
